RIP Sand Sculpture
On our journey around the beaches down in Narragansett (Scarborough, then Roger Wheeler and finally Town Beach) we came across this local woman who was working on a sand sculpture. I first noticed the sculpture when I was walking down the beach and from behind it looked a little like a really horrible castle. As we walked by, I took a quick look and was amazed with what she had done. Apparently she waits until the tourists have gone home for the summer and then she spends a lot of her time down on the beach scultping. She'll then take pictures and use them as holiday greeting cards for friends all over the world.

Had the honor of taking part in the Doug Flutie 5K for Autism today. I was joined by my oldest, Nica, and 16 other wonderful people as we walked, jogged and ran 3.11 miles to raise funds to aid financially disadvantaged families who need help taking care of their children with autism and to help fund education and research into the causes and consequesnces of childhood autism.
Thanks "Team Tim" and I hope we can make this an annual event!
